The first 5-Day Hands-on GIS Short-Term Training Programme organised by KSCSTE-NATPAC was successfully conducted from 27-31 July 2026 at the KSCSTE-NATPAC Regional Office, JLN International Stadium, Kaloor, Ernakulam.

The programme saw enthusiastic participation from officials of the Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) and students from various institutions. Over five days, participants gained practical experience in GIS through hands-on sessions covering spatial data management, mapping, geoprocessing, and spatial analysis.

We sincerely thank everyone who participated and contributed to the success of the first training program in this series. The encouraging response inspires us to continue this initiative, and we look forward to welcoming many more participants to the upcoming GIS Short-Term Training Programmes.
