‘TransPedia Research Talk Series’ a platform for young researchers across the globe to connect and interact to better shape the future of research and development in the field of transportation.

The thirty first talk in this series is to be held on the 25th February 2026 at 11:30 AM IST through online mode. The speaker of this talk is Dr. Sowjanya Dhulipala, Assistant Professor, School of Infrastructure, Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar.

The researcher will be delivering the talk on the topic "The Future of Rail Freight in India: Analyzing Stakeholder Acceptance of Dedicated Freight Corridors (DFCs)".

NATPAC proudly celebrated Republic Day at K.Karunakaran Transpark with great patriotic spirit.

Dr. Ashalatha.R, Director,Natpac hoisted the National Flag.

 

NATPAC Team visited Muvattupuzha town as part of Road Safety Inspection of about 1.3 km stretch from PO junction to Nehru Park roundabout with KRFB officials and People's Representatives on 24.01.2026.

In addition NATPAC Scientists visited MC road near Thrikkalathoor where frequent accidents are reported along with Police officials and people's representatives.

 

Road Safety and Youth Leadership Training Program

  In connection with National Road Safety Month 2026, KSCSTE–NATPAC organised a Training Program on Road Safety and Youth Leadership at Central Polytechnic College, Thiruvananthapuram

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Ashalatha, Director, KSCSTE–NATPAC, on 23 January 2026.

As a prelude to the 38th Kerala Science Congress, a Mini Marathon was held in Ernakulam, starting from St. Albert’s College and concluding at Kaloor Sports Campus. The event was flagged off by Ernakulam District Collector Ms. Priyanka G, IAS, highlighting the importance of scientific awareness and healthy living.

Students, teachers, scientists, and sports enthusiasts participated, making the event a vibrant people’s movement.
